WESTBURY IN 2024

Westbury has been producing dog shows on Long Island for more than a century. Our friends at SCKC and the two Big Apple clubs, though not as old as Westbury, have been producing dog shows on Long Island for many, many years. We didn't want to see the disappearance of major dog shows from Long Island. Our common weekend in September 2024 faced the critical problem of location. The usual venues were either unavailable for all the days we needed, or unsatisfactory for our shows in other ways. Westbury and the other three clubs, with which we are affiliated, were relieved to learn that Old Westbury Gardens was available! The facility also had everything we needed, including plenty of ring space, sufficient and convenient parking, an outdoor food pavilion, a separate area for FSS®, and an appropriate place for SCKC's Scent Trials on Sunday.
   

The rest is history as The Fall Cluster at Old Westbury Gardens took place on time and under budget. To help set the mood, we played 1920s music softly in the background the whole weekend. We admit that the weather wasn't the greatest, but all the wonderful dogs and people were!​
